A lot of the stuff flame princess did was reckless but in two incidents one happened because she was very young and the second was because Finn tricked her into fighting ice king with a cruel letter. Flame king even pestered his daughter by whispering the word evil to her in her sleep, which frightened her and eventually she got fed up with her fathers abuse and overthrew him. She has firmly established her good morality since then
